Voice & Piano
A Royal Conservatory of Music graduate and Hollywood and Vine Music Company attendee. Lorie has been singing since the age of 9, and with her talents she has toured across Canada and placed in the top 45 of Canadian Idol.
Violin, Viola & Piano
Presently the head of the Calgary Arts Orchestra, she earned her position by attaining a Bachelor of Arts in Violin at Ambrose University in Calgary as well as a Master of Arts in Orchestral Conducting from Azusa Pacific University in California. These achievements, along with decades of passion, practice and commitment to her musical education, make her one of our most educated and impressive instructors.
Drums & Guitar
Deyson is a very active member in the Calgary music scene. When he isn't behind the drum kit for local music group The Oceania Tenor, Deyson is practising away as an accomplished guitarist, bassist and aspiring recording engineer. In addition to his awesome enthusiasm, Deyson is extremely creative, easy going, and prides himself in making every class fun for his students.
Mount Royal and Selkirk College Guitar alumna; Mel began their journey with guitar at age 14, and since has performed in several concert and studio bands in Calgary such as funk-rock band Pink Lemonade.
Guitar (6, 7 & 8-string), Bass, Drums & Ukulele
Trained at the Musician's Institute in Hollywood, CA, owner of Leroux Music Studios and has toured throughout Canada, United Kingdom and United States. Bryan has been instructing music since 2007 and is currently composing and performing with instrumental act Jung People.
Guitar & Ukulele
Internationally-trained, Graduate of the CEMMI, Self-taught classical player; Christophe founded Leroux Music in 2009, has instructed in multiple countries over the last decade and is a regular RCM seminar attendee. His guitar work has been showcased on stage and in the studio with acts such as Odela, Jenavive and Broken Aviator varying in styles from Rock to Jazz, Classical, Metal and Prog.
Piano & Bass
Grade 8 RCM achiever and pianist since the age 4. Riley has since become an accomplished Bassist, Vocalist, and Chapman Stickist performing in and around Calgary with The Oceania Tenor.
Guitar, Banjo, Mandolin & Lute
U of C Bachelor of Arts Fine Arts degree achiever, multi-instrumentalist and keyboardist of Pack of Strangers. Erik began studying piano at the age of Three, guitar at Fifteen and is an accomplished self-taught mandolin and banjo player.
Voice & Piano
Kayla’s passion for music began when she was just three years old. This excitement blossomed into real talent as she studied under Toshi Jackson and Marie Bridge, earning her spot in The Young Canadians voice ensemble. After winning the David Foster Star Search she became a sought-after performer in Manilla music theatre. Kayla loves to have fun with music and can’t wait to meet her new voice students!
Guitar, Ukulele & Piano
RCM Grade 8 Piano certified, and a self-trained multi-instrumentalist covering guitar, bass, ukulele, and synthesizer. Isaac is currently working on an intimate solo project under the moniker Not I, and is the vocalist and synth player for the more abrasive and experimental Redress, with fellow Leroux Music teacher Riley Marion.
